Job Description
As a Coordinator with warehouse responsibility, you work in close collaboration with colleagues and the unit manager to ensure good delivery and service to our customers. The warehouse responsibility includes tasks such as inventory, optimization of warehouse shelves and space, and analysis of balances, articles, and statistics. In addition to your warehouse duties, you are also part of the production team and provide support to other units within the Assistive Devices Centre.
Further duties include:
- Contact with external partners and suppliers
- Conducting inspections and maintenance
- Working with deviation management and error reports
- Warehouse administration
- Creating instructions and guides when needed
- Ensuring smooth flow from warehouse to production
Qualifications
We are looking for you with a completed upper secondary education and experience in warehouse/logistics work. You communicate fluently in Swedish and can express yourself well both verbally and in writing. Since the majority of your workday is spent in a warehouse environment, it is important that you have good physical fitness and an ergonomic working approach. Furthermore, you possess digital competence and are computer literate; for example, you have experience learning and working in various systems. As a person, you are structured, detail-oriented, and skilled at collaborating with others. You are interested in warehouse optimization, work with a focus on quality, and wish to contribute to the development of our operations.
Previous experience in a similar role and responsibility is meritorious. Experience with assistive devices and a forklift license is also an advantage.
About the Assistive Devices Centre
The Assistive Devices Centre is a competence and logistics center for the Västra Götaland Region's own operations and the 49 municipalities included in the region. Our service offering is based on healthcare providers' needs for both in-depth knowledge within the field of assistive devices and various service functions to support the care chain. We handle procurement, warehousing, distribution, as well as service and maintenance of assistive device items. We also help prescribers with assistive device counseling, individual fitting, and adaptation. Around 150 employees work at the Assistive Devices Centre in Mölndal, and we offer you a developing workplace where you receive induction, training, and good employment conditions. As part of our operations, you lay the foundation for a well-functioning healthcare system and help make life easier for people with functional variations.
Other Information
The position is a permanent employment starting as agreed. Selection and interviews take place continuously during the application period. Questions about the position are handled by the recruiting manager, Mark Mccrory, Unit Manager at the Assistive Devices Centre Mölndal.
The Västra Götaland Region conducts security-sensitive activities to some extent, so a security clearance with register check may be conducted if the position requires it. The security clearance is carried out in accordance with provisions in the Security Protection Act.
