Job Responsibilities

We are currently looking for a Transport Manager for our client just outside of Borås. In this role, you will have a central function in daily operations, responsible for planning and coordinating transports while leading and supporting a team of drivers. You will work closely with the site/traffic manager and ensure that operations are conducted efficiently, with high quality, and in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and customer requirements. This role is suitable for you if you enjoy combining operational planning with leadership and daily contact with both customers and employees.

• Plan, coordinate, and optimize transport assignments and vehicle resources
• Work with the company's transport management system to ensure efficient transport flows
• Be responsible for daily contact with drivers and customers
• Lead, support, and coach a team of drivers in their daily work
• Handle schedule changes, sick leave, and other personnel administration
• Ensure transports are carried out according to applicable laws, regulations, and internal routines
• Collaborate with the workshop and other departments regarding maintenance and operational issues
• Contribute to the development of working methods, processes, and work environment

About the Position

Location: Just outside Borås
Working Hours: Daytime, Monday–Friday
Employment Type: Full-time

Requirements

• Experience in transport management, logistics planning, or a similar role
• Previous experience in personnel responsibility or team leadership
• Good computer skills and experience with administrative tasks
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Ability to work in a structured manner and handle multiple tasks in parallel
