🌟 Care Supervisor for Short-Term Care – Pilot Project 1 Year – Make a Difference Every Day! 🌟
Do you want a central and developmental role where you contribute to quality, security, and development within elderly care? We are now looking for an engaged care supervisor who wants to strengthen our team and create the best possible care for our residents.
Our short-term accommodation for rehabilitation, assessment, and/or respite as well as palliative care has 16 places. All have separate modern living spaces, large bright apartments in our newly built house. We also have large, nice common areas and a large shared balcony. There is free parking outside the house.
In the same building, we have our nurses as well as occupational therapists and physiotherapists who instruct and delegate tasks for our residents in dialogue with the ward staff.
🩺 About the Role
As a care supervisor, you have an important function in the operation with a focus on quality, supervision, and individualized care. You work both strategically and close to the operation, with great responsibility for developing working methods and supporting colleagues in their daily work. Together with the Unit Manager, the role of care supervisor and its tasks for short-term care during the pilot project will be evaluated and redistributed if necessary.
📌 Your Responsibilities
- Responsible for occupancy and care intensity statistics
- Participate in the move-in process (admission and welcome conversations)
- Support in needs assessments for complex care needs
- Provide support and information to relatives
- Create, follow up, and ensure quality of implementation plans
- Ensure that routine and safety binders are up to date
- Participate in daily care work close to the residents
- Supervise staff, students, and act as a method support
- Ensure quality of interaction and nursing competence
- Support documentation according to IBIC
- Create action plans for BPSD (Behavioral and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia)
- Collaborate with VET-trained resources and the dementia team
- Participate in deviation management together with the Unit Manager
- Work with mentorship and supervision

You work to create secure, dignified, and individualized interventions that promote independence and well-being for the residents – while also contributing to relatives feeling secure that their loved ones are receiving good care.
✅ Qualifications
- Trained nursing assistant (undersköterska)
- Several years of experience in elderly care
- Completed mentor and supervisor training
- Good documentation skills according to current regulations
- Very good knowledge of Swedish, spoken and written
- Good knowledge of low-affective approach
- Experience with IBIC/Life Care is meritorious
- Experience from short-term care is meritorious
