We are now looking for an experienced occupational therapist on a part-time basis for our facility Tryggheten in Solna.

Where you will work

Tryggheten is a small, family-like special housing facility with 31 apartments on one level. The apartments are divided into two wards with a somatic focus. Tryggheten is located in Solna, close to bus stops and within walking distance from Bergshamra metro station. The surrounding area offers beautiful walking paths and green spaces.

Responsibilities

In the role of occupational therapist, you will be responsible for carrying out occupational therapy-based interventions within elderly care. Your work focuses on supporting elderly individuals in both physical and cognitive challenges. You will work both independently and in a team, conducting functional and activity assessments, as well as leading training activities. Additionally, you will be responsible for trial-fitting and prescribing assistive devices, as well as instructing, delegating, and supervising nursing staff according to current laws and regulations. You are also responsible for identifying, reporting, and participating in the follow-up of deviations and risk events. You have a leading role and are an important part of the facility's systematic quality and patient safety work.

Job Description

We are currently looking for a colleague for a permanent position with a probationary period. The employment rate is 50% with a start date to be agreed upon.

• Licensed occupational therapist
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
