Today, Biltema offers a wide range of products for the whole family within the areas of Car/Motorcycle, Boat, Leisure, Home, Office/Technology, Construction, Car Care, and Tools. In total, Biltema markets more than 19,000 articles. Our vision is to make it economically easier for people to own a car, boat, home, tools, and high-quality leisure items, thereby creating a richer leisure time for everyone. Biltema currently has a total of 172 stores in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland, of which 64 stores are located in Sweden. Biltema is a strong brand in exciting expansion, planning to open around 50 new stores in the Nordic countries in the coming years.

What you can expect from the role
As Deputy Store Manager, you are the Store Manager's extended arm. You have personnel responsibility for the store's employees and hold overall responsibility for daily operations. You coach and lead employees through your presence in the store, ensuring that all customers receive optimal service and leave Biltema with a positive experience. Through engaged and inspiring leadership, you develop Department Managers and other employees. You monitor sales and contribute creative ideas to showcase our large product range.
You are well-versed in store operations and hold ultimate responsibility for the store when the Store Manager is not present. This includes, among other things, having the ultimate responsibility for the work environment and ensuring, together with other employees, that you maintain a safe workplace. You are involved in planning and create schedules based on activities and events. You are happy to share your expertise and act as a sounding board for both the Store Manager and other employees.
As Deputy Store Manager, you are part of the store's management team and report to the Store Manager.
The position is a fixed-term contract for 1 year, with a possibility of extension. The working hours are 40 hours per week.
What we expect from you
We are looking for you who are result-oriented and have a high level of service awareness. As a person, you have the ability to motivate, coach, and inspire staff through your pedagogical way of communicating and leading. You easily create a good atmosphere and always ensure that your employees are ready to perform at their best. By viewing the entire sales cycle from planning and goods receipt to marketing and sales, you always strive to be solution-oriented and creative in any situations that may arise.
We see that you have at least 2-3 years of experience in similar responsible positions within retail. This means that you feel confident in your leadership and comfortable with the agreements and regulations that apply to retail.
