About the Role

As a retail sales assistant at MIQ, you will have a varied role where sales, customer service, creativity, and social media go hand in hand.

You will become an important part of a small team where everyone helps each other, takes responsibility, and contributes to creating an inspiring store environment.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Helping customers and creating a positive shopping experience
• Sales and cash register duties
• Product display, restocking, and maintaining order in the store
• Creating inspiring gift solutions for customers
• Wrapping gifts and creating beautiful cellophane arrangements
• Creating content for the store's social media channels
• Posting updates, photos, reels, and campaigns
• Contributing ideas regarding marketing, purchasing, and store development

The work is performed both independently and in collaboration with colleagues in the store.

You are curious, positive, and enjoy building relationships with customers. You easily switch between different tasks and maintain your composure even when the pace picks up.

You have an eye for detail and enjoy creating that little extra for the customer. Wrapping gifts, building lovely gift sets, and creating attractive cellophane arrangements feel natural to you. Experience is not a requirement, but interest, a delicate touch, and a willingness to learn are important.

Requirements

• High school education
• Good knowledge of Swedish
• Good knowledge of English
• Experience using social media

Merits

• Experience in retail, sales, or customer service

• Experience with product display, merchandising, or marketing
• Interest in interior design, fashion, or gift items

Other Information

Employment type: Hourly position

Working hours according to a two-week schedule:

• Week 1: Monday–Friday 13:00–18:05
• Week 2: Tuesday–Friday 13:00–18:05, Saturday 10:00–16:00

MIQ works flexibly and is open to solutions that work for both parties.
