About the Role of Workshop Technician at Kärcher

In the role of Workshop Technician specializing in Kärcher's professional range, you will be part of a small team in Gothenburg, based at the workshop in Kärcher Center in Hisings Backa. From the workshop, you will handle incoming assignments focusing on Professional Machines within high-pressure and floor care (scrubber dryers and sweepers) serving customers in industries such as Industry, Logistics, and Cleaning within the Gothenburg region.

Main Responsibilities:

• Service and repairs of the Professional range (high-pressure, scrubber dryers, and sweepers).
• Handle and troubleshoot faults within mechanics and electricity.
• Prepare action and cost proposals.

About You

We are looking for you who have a genuine technical interest, good knowledge of mechanics and electricity, and experience in service, troubleshooting, and maintenance of similar machines or in adjacent industries. To fit the role, you have a completed upper secondary education, preferably within mechanics/electricity/automation. It is also important that you hold a B-driving license and are proficient in Swedish and English, both in speech and writing.

To thrive in the role, you work well both independently and as part of a team, and communicate effectively with both colleagues and customers. You are an engaged and proactive person with a good ability to see the big picture and identify what needs to be prioritized.

Requirements for the position:

• Upper secondary education in electricity, mechanics, vehicles, automation, or equivalent practical experience assessed as comparable.
• Previous experience in technical service work, maintenance, or repairs.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and manuals.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both in speech and writing, to handle documentation and customer contact.
• Basic knowledge of the Office package and the ability to report digitally in business systems.
