About Us
Öknaskolan has approximately 240 students, of whom 160 live in the school's boarding facility. The school offers upper secondary education within the Natural Resource Programme, the Vocational Introduction Programme, and Adapted Upper Secondary School, all focused on natural resource management. The stables at Öknaskolan serve as a classroom where education takes place in a real-world setting. We provide the next generation of horse handlers with the best possible education.

Your Responsibilities
Instructing and guiding students in equine studies is a key part of the role, as is feeding, caring for horses, and maintaining the facilities. As a member of the Equine Studies team, teachers and instructors plan education and work together, all with the aim of providing excellent conditions for the students' education.

Your Qualifications
You have a basic education in equine studies or equivalent experience, preferably combined with further training in the field. You thrive in the role of an instructor and enjoy working with young people. You have the ability to see the connections between theory and practice. A driver's license with at least category B is required. We would prefer that you also hold a category BE license.
