Fogtema & Tätskikt i Mälardalen AB is a family-owned company operating within the roofing industry. We work with new construction, repairs, and maintenance. Our assignments involve waterproofing, roof safety, sheet metal, and solar cells. Sheet metal and solar cell work is carried out through our sister companies, Sthlmsödra Plåtslageri AB and Soltema.

We currently have 19 employees and work in small teams of two to four people. We prioritize availability and reliability. Our customers should feel secure in knowing that we solve problems 100 percent. The company is developing and growing. Therefore, we are now looking for at least one experienced waterproofing installer who wants to continue developing together with us.

You will depart from home and drive directly to the job site around Greater Stockholm. We have an office in Tullinge where we hold staff meetings and pick up and drop off materials as needed. Your direct manager is the project manager. You will work closely with roofers, installers, and sheet metal workers on the projects.

As a waterproofing installer, you will among other things:

• Remove existing roofs and prepare the substrate for new waterproofing.

• Lay and weld waterproofing membranes on roofs, foundations, balconies, terraces, and courtyards.

• Work with insulation, hot asphalt, and special solutions in gutters and other details.

• Work with safety, fire protection, and risk assessments together with the foreman.

• Document self-inspections and daily logs in Byggkollen via your phone.

The work is varied and consists of both short and longer projects with different levels of difficulty. You are part of the entire work process and work operationally up on the roof. The work takes place at height, using a harness or scaffolding.

Areas of Responsibility

You are responsible for ensuring that the work is carried out according to the guidelines of Tätskiktsgarantier and AMA. You have a special responsibility when working with gas burners and must ensure that the work is carried out safely. You are involved in establishing self-inspections and working towards inspection. The work requires precision, safety awareness, and professional pride.

Desired Profile:

• Some years of experience in the construction industry.

• Experience working at heights.

• Good physical fitness as the work is physically demanding.

• Category B driver's license.

• Good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing for documentation and safe communication.

Is a problem solver and driven; because every project is unique and requires you to find solutions on site.

Advantageous if you:

• Have previous experience working with waterproofing or roofing.

• Have completed installer training in the field.

Start: Immediately or by agreement.

Working hours: 07:00–16:00, Monday to Friday.

Location: Starting from home, projects around Greater Stockholm. Office in Tullinge.

Employment type: Full-time, permanent with a 6-month probation period. Collective agreement applies.
