Janitor / Gardener / Machine Technician

A versatile handyman sought for Himmelsby SPA & Conference

We are looking for a practical and independent person who enjoys working with everything from machinery and property maintenance to gardens, green areas, and ongoing upkeep.

No two days are the same here. One day you might drive a tractor or excavator, the next you repair a pump, trim hedges, manage pool technology, or build a new solution to make the facility even better.

If you have experience from farming, contracting, property maintenance, or similar practical work, you will likely thrive here.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and development of our gardens, plantings, and green areas

• Mowing, pruning, and general outdoor environment maintenance

• Operation and maintenance of tractors, lawn mowers, and other machinery

• Property maintenance and minor carpentry, painting, and repair work

• Operation and supervision of pools, water purification, and spa facilities

• Monitoring and adjusting water quality

• Maintenance of pumps, ventilation, and other technical installations

• Troubleshooting and practical problem-solving in daily operations

• Contact with external contractors for larger service tasks

• Participation in renovations and development of the facility

We are looking for someone who

• Is practical and enjoys solving problems

• Has experience with machinery and technical maintenance

• Preferably has a background in farming, contracting, or property maintenance

• Can work independently and take initiative

• Is orderly and responsible

• Has an eye for keeping a large facility well-maintained and inviting

• Has a B driver's license (BE or machine experience is a plus)

About the position

You will become an important part of our property team and, together with your colleagues, be responsible for ensuring the entire facility functions well and looks well-maintained. The role suits you if you enjoy working both indoors and outdoors and prefer to take action directly rather than waiting for someone else to do it.

Above all, we are looking for someone who is a true fixer – someone who likes machines, gardens, properties, and practical work and wants to help develop one of Sweden's most exciting spa and conference facilities.

The work is performed according to a schedule that includes working every other weekend.
