Björn's Kitchen opened its doors just before Christmas 2025, and we have had a flying start. Right in the middle of Vemdalen By, we are building what is destined to become the natural living room of the Vemdalen mountains – a place where guests, locals, and the entire village gather year-round. Behind the restaurant stands KBK Vemdalen AB, and we run it with equal parts love, passion, and a strong drive to make Vemdalen a destination for all seasons.

We are now looking for a full-time, year-round cook who wants to join the journey from the very beginning. We move fast, dare to try new things, challenge ourselves – and above all, have a great time along the way!

Björn's Kitchen is the heart of our operations, but not everything we do. We also run:

• Fäbokrogen – the golf restaurant at Klövsjö-Vemdalen Golf Club
• Värdshuset Vargen – the classic inn on Vemdalsskalet, which we are taking over for the winter season 2026/2027
• FlipIt – trampoline park
• Padel Hall
• KBK Arena – Activity Hall adjacent to the restaurant, where we also host numerous exciting events throughout the year

About the role

You prepare food from scratch and handle preparations together with our head chef, with whom you work closely. At our place, good food that our guests love is the top priority – what we send out must be something we are proud of. To thrive here, you need to enjoy the pace of a restaurant kitchen, be attentive, and play as part of the team when things get busy.

• Has experience working in a restaurant kitchen
• Is self-motivated, responsible, and structured
• Thrives in a varying pace
• Has good teamwork skills and a positive attitude
