We are now looking for a TIG welder for a consultancy assignment with a client just outside Ljungby. The client works with fine mechanical manufacturing in stainless steel and aluminum components and needs to strengthen their team with a precise TIG welder. You will be employed by us and work at the client's site – for the right person, the assignment can turn into a permanent position directly with the client.

Job Description
You will perform TIG welding (141) on construction details, primarily in stainless steel and aluminum. The work demands high precision and clean weld seams. Common tasks include reading drawings, setting up fixtures and components, tack welding, and welding in various positions (e.g., TIG welding of thin sheets and pipes). You will perform self-inspection of welds according to current quality requirements and ensure they meet high standards. Reading drawings and WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications) is part of your daily routine to follow specifications for joint preparation and welding methods. You will collaborate with colleagues in the welding and assembly group and contribute to the company's quality and safety culture.
We are looking for you who
- Are an experienced TIG welder (141) with good manual dexterity and an eye for detail. You have welded in stainless steel and/or aluminum and master thin materials with high precision.
- Hold a welding certificate according to SS-EN ISO 9606-1 (steel) or 9606-2 (aluminum) for TIG welding, certifying your competence.
- Drawing reading: Excellent skills in reading and following drawings as well as welding symbols on drawings.
- Material and process knowledge: Understanding of the properties of stainless steel, aluminum, and any other materials you weld in, as well as the ability to choose the correct filler material and settings for these.
- Quality awareness: Ability to perform visual weld inspections and work systematically with quality and safety requirements.
- Language: You master Swedish in speech and writing, to be able to follow instructions and communicate with colleagues.
Merits:
- Breadth in welding competence: Experience with MIG/MAG or MMA welding in addition to TIG is meritorious, as is experience with different material thicknesses and alloys.
- Certifications: Possession of several valid welding licenses (e.g., for different materials or welding positions) in addition to TIG.
- Other competencies: Knowledge in welding fixturing, CNC control, or mechanical processing such as grinding/polishing is viewed positively. Also, forklift or overhead crane certificates can be meritorious if heavy components occur in production.
