Physical Education Teacher at Järva Gymnasium

BACKGROUND

Järva Gymnasium is a modern, innovative, and inclusive upper secondary school. We are currently seeking a Physical Education teacher for a temporary position of at least one year, with the possibility of extension. The position is at least 70% full-time. Depending on your qualifications, the position may be expanded to 100%.

We have an ambitious goal to create a school where 100 percent of students graduate, are well-equipped for higher education, and prepared for the future, with the ability to explore and realize their own ambitions.

You who have the qualifications to teach Physical Education at the upper secondary level.

• You have strong pedagogical skills and a great commitment to students' learning, health, and development. In teaching and in interactions with students, you are a clear leader and a positive role model who inspires joy in movement, cooperation, and responsibility.
• You value good relationships and actively work to create a safe and inclusive learning environment where all students feel motivated to participate and develop.
• Your teaching is well-planned, structured, and varied, and you work in accordance with the curriculum and course goals. You adapt your teaching to students' different prerequisites and strive to develop both your own teaching and students' learning.
• You work goal-oriented and use result dialogues, follow-ups, and analysis as tools to support students' development and goal achievement.
• Collaboration is a natural part of your work, and you see collegial learning as an important part of the school's development.
• You thrive in the role of a secure and responsible adult and work relationally, proactively, and preventively to support students' well-being and academic results.
