As a Property Technician, you will be based at our specialist department, Housing Services. Read more about us here (#).

Your Role

As a Property Technician at Uppsalahem, you work to ensure that our tenants' homes maintain a high technical standard through repairs and corrective maintenance. The role is social and service-oriented, and you plan your day based on work orders received directly on your phone.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Troubleshooting and repair within heating and ventilation.
• Performing minor tasks and repairs within electricity, water, and sewage, as well as appliance replacements.
• Conducting rounds and performing inspections for preventive purposes.
• Installing and repairing locks and doors.
• Evaluating technical equipment and standards, and ordering technical expertise when needed.

You may also need to assist with move-in and move-out processes, especially at the beginning and end of each month. During the winter season, snow clearing duties may also occur.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who has:

• A high school education in carpentry, electricity, or plumbing, or alternatively a post-secondary education focused on property technology.
• Experience working with property maintenance.
• A valid driver's license (Category B).
• Good proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written.

Since your workplace is within our tenants' homes, it is important that you enjoy interacting with people, are trustworthy, and are skilled at adapting to different situations. It is crucial that you put our tenants first and actively work to maintain a high level of service. Although you are self-motivated, you enjoy collaborating with other property technicians and specialists.
