Are you ready for an exciting assignment in a fast-paced operation where no two days are alike? We are now looking for a colleague to join our Department Manager team at the Emergency Department in Ljungby!
The Emergency Clinic can be briefly summarized as the center of action! Here, no two days are alike, and you will be met by a workplace with pulse, speed, and drive, along with a team of wonderful colleagues who together face the challenges we encounter every day.
At the Emergency Department in Ljungby, we provide emergency care around the clock within medicine, surgery, and orthopedics. Our team consists of dedicated nurses, nursing assistants, medical secretaries, and doctors from various specialties.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Department Manager at the Emergency Department in Ljungby, you will work closely with your co-manager. We believe in strong shared leadership with good communication and lack of hierarchy to succeed together in our mission.
Your responsibilities as Department Manager are to lead and develop the Emergency Department and its employees towards set goals. Together with your colleague, you have overall responsibility for the operations, which includes economy, work environment, and personnel responsibility for approximately 45 employees.
You will also work with development, planning, improvement, and follow-up of the department's processes to improve patient care. You will become part of an engaged management group and have close collaboration with the clinic's other department managers in Växjö and Ljungby. You report to the Operations Manager.
As Department Manager, you strive for a communicative leadership style characterized by dialogue, clarity, and presence. In your role, it is important to support and coach your employees in their daily work, utilizing their engagement, strengths, and development needs. As Department Manager, you promote a culture that supports Region Kronoberg's core value; respect for the individual.

QUALIFICATIONS
To thrive and succeed in the role, you need to have a genuine interest in your employees and be skilled at quickly switching between different operational issues. You are calm and structured and wish to engage and lead your employees in a daily life with high tempo. Your ability to collaborate is a success factor in this role, as you will have shared leadership with the current Department Manager.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has the ability to build good relationships and can collaborate both within the unit and with other clinics
- Is easy to collaborate with and is aware of your strengths and weaknesses
- Maintains enthusiasm and positivity even in tough situations and keeps calm under stress
- Has the ability to quickly adapt to new conditions and lead your employees through change.
It is meritorious if you have previously worked as a leader and if you have healthcare education, preferably as a nurse. Furthermore, it is meritorious if you have experience from hospital care and preferably from working at an emergency department.
Recruitment Process:
We apply personality and problem-solving tests as a basis for selection, which together with the CV determine who moves forward in the process. In this recruitment, we place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Interviews are planned to be held on August 18 and 21.

Duration: Permanent. You have a management appointment for four years, with a permanent position in your basic role.
