Regionfastigheter develops and manages Region Skåne's properties, with a focus on creating safe, functional, and sustainable environments for residents and employees. We are developing complex construction projects in sensitive care environments, always with the highest demands for operational reliability. The Business Area Property Operations is responsible for creating reliable healthcare services and manages the operation and maintenance of Region Skåne's hospitals. At the property operations unit in Malmö, we are 49 employees on the hospital site, and we have the main responsibility for creating world-class operational reliability and being a secure partner to healthcare.

The operations area contains a variety of technical installations such as ventilation, heating, cooling, control and regulation, medical gases, as well as power supply and distribution. The responsibility also includes certain operational technical equipment. These are complex systems where we are responsible for preventive maintenance work and participate in major renovations and new installation projects. The work is carried out in a hospital environment, with patient safety in focus, in close collaboration with Region Skåne's operations and its personnel, project managers, consultants, and contractors.

Job Responsibilities

We are now looking for a technician focused on white goods, based at Skåne University Hospital in Malmö, with responsibility for receiving, planning, and carrying out all existing work in the area.

You work independently and in a team with service, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of white goods as well as spray dishwashers, dishwashers, large kitchen, and professional machines. Installation work may also occur. The unit consists of 14 technicians, and you will work closely with two other colleagues with the same focus on white goods.

Several projects are running in parallel, and you have daily contact with representatives from the various operations as well as suppliers. You perform minor technical investigations and also participate in the planning of long-term maintenance and propose technical solutions. Since operational reliability is our primary task, it is natural to participate in all areas of responsibility and tasks within the unit as needed and actively participate in our improvement work.

As a technician with us at property operations, you work in an organization with overall responsibility for Region Skåne's property portfolio. We offer you a varied job with freedom under responsibility as well as good opportunities for personal development.

Depending on the needs of the operation, on-call duty may become relevant.

Qualifications

We welcome you who have at least completed upper secondary education with a technical focus or equivalent. Alternatively, you have acquired equivalent knowledge through work experience that the employer considers equivalent. You are computer literate and have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. Since we also perform assignments in operations outside the hospital area, a valid B driver's license is a requirement.

It is a prerequisite that you have previous experience working with service, maintenance, and repairs of white goods. If you have also worked with sterile technical equipment and large kitchens, we consider it meritorious. It is advantageous if you have a broad general technical competence and have good knowledge in other property technical areas than white goods.

Since the role of technician involves daily contact with both customers and colleagues, it is important that you are service-oriented, enjoy coordinating, and have good communication skills. You thrive working independently and with a structured work method, you plan your work and allocate time for the administration related to the assignments.
