Horse Groom at Lasätter Gård – Riding, Education and High-Level Development

Do you want to work with horses in a professional environment where quality, animal welfare, and long-term development are the focus? Lasätter Gård, located outside of Nyköping, is now looking for an engaged horse groom who wants to be a vital part of the operation and contribute to the training of both young and older horses.

Here, you will work closely with the horses every day in an operation where training, development, and good horse care are a natural part of daily life. There is an opportunity to grow together with knowledgeable colleagues while also developing your own riding skills.

About the Position

As a horse groom at Lasätter Gård, you combine stable duties with riding and daily horse handling. You will become an important part of the team focused on the horses' education and well-being.

The responsibilities include, among other things:

• Daily care of horses and the stable
• Feeding, turning out and in, and other stable routines
• Riding and exercising horses
• Participation in horse training
• Preparations for training, competitions, and transport
• Maintenance of equipment and facilities

The operation is characterized by versatile riding, and we would appreciate it if you feel confident in several equestrian disciplines.

We are looking for you who

You are a responsible person with a good feel for horses and a genuine interest in horse development. You are used to working independently but also appreciate being part of a small and engaged team.

We believe you have:

• Good riding experience and experience in training or further training horses
• The ability to ride different types of horses in a soft and pedagogical manner
• Good knowledge of horse care and stable work
• A valid B driver's license

It is an advantage if you also have a C driver's license and previous experience with young horses and young horse training.
