The role of Forklift Driver/Warehouse Associate at ICA's warehouse in Helsingborg will primarily involve forklift operation and manually picking goods using a voice-picking unit that instructs you on what to pick.

The tasks are physically demanding and characterized by a high work pace, working in different temperature zones. Therefore, you must be able to work in a cold environment.

Working hours and schedule: ICA's warehouse operations run 24/7, 365 days a year, meaning your schedule may vary between daytime, evening shifts, and night shifts. The work may also include weekends. Since the position is full-time, you are expected to be available for booking based on ICA's needs.

This is a fixed-term consultancy assignment for 6 months with a possibility of extension, meaning you will be employed by StudentConsulting but hired out to our client, ICA.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Forklift license A1-4 (TLP2 or TLP10) – this is advantageous and a requirement for any permanent employment.
• Good physical condition.
• Clean criminal record (Swedish: Belastningsregistret).
• Very good ability to understand and communicate in Swedish.
• Advantageous if you have a B-driving license and access to your own car to quickly commute to the workplace in Långeberga.

As a person, you are meticulous, flexible, and responsible. You have a strong work ethic and enjoy working independently, although you also like to socialize with colleagues during breaks. In this role, you will work towards set goals, so it is important that you thrive in a fast-paced environment and strive to achieve good results. Since the need extends up to 6 months, you need to be available for full-time work throughout the entire period.

We will request a certificate from the Swedish Police Authority (belastningsregister) and conduct drug tests as part of the process. ICA aims to have smoke-free workplaces, and all workplaces must be sober and free from drugs, which means random alcohol and drug tests may occur.
