The Swedish National Board of Institutional Care (SiS) is an authority responsible for individually adapted compulsory care for young people with complex psychosocial issues and for adults with substance abuse problems. SiS Youth Home Långanäs receives boys who are not subject to compulsory schooling and who have psychosocial problems, criminality, and substance abuse issues.

Job Description

We are looking for you who want to work as a cleaner at SiS Youth Home Långanäs! The temporary position covers the summer with good opportunities for extension. As a cleaner here, you are responsible for cleaning the institution's various premises. You will clean both client and staff areas. The work consists of varied tasks where you will clean offices, common areas, kitchens, school facilities, etc. Client-facing cleaning is handled by our treatment staff. In addition to your qualifications and experience, we value your flexibility. The work is often demanding but also stimulating, joyful, and varied. Qualifications:

Your personal suitability is key to life-changing change. It is important that you have a solid positive view of people and great empathetic ability. You have good communication skills and must be able to communicate and write fluently in Swedish. You also have the ability to collaborate with others and are happy to share your knowledge with colleagues.

You must also have:

• High school diploma
• Training in cleaning/cleaning management
• Good Swedish in speech and writing
• Category B driver's license

Meritorious:

• Experience cleaning schools, hospitals, and larger facilities.

Employment:

This is a summer temporary position covering our summer period with a good chance of extension. Interviews and selection take place continuously. Working hours are scheduled during daytime, Monday to Friday.
