Cybersecurity Specialist – OT, Infrastructure & Critical Systems

We are now looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist for a long-term consulting assignment with one of our clients.

As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will play a central role in ensuring cybersecurity in complex technical environments where multiple systems, suppliers, and network solutions interact. You will work closely with project managers, technical specialists, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure that cybersecurity requirements are implemented, verified, and documented according to current standards and regulatory requirements.

The role combines strategic security work with technical depth and operational execution.

In this role, you will among other things:

• Ensure that cybersecurity requirements are identified, implemented, and followed up throughout the project lifecycle
• Conduct and lead threat and risk analyses within OT, industrial, and network environments
• Design, review, and further develop cybersecurity architecture for complex system landscapes
• Identify cybersecurity risks, deficiencies, and areas for improvement, and propose measures
• Work with requirement setting, review, and quality assurance of technical solutions
• Ensure traceability between requirements, design, verification, and delivery
• Develop, review, and evaluate test cases, test protocols, and cybersecurity tests
• Support review and approval processes related to cybersecurity
• Document cybersecurity solutions, risk assessments, and security-related decisions
• Act as expert support to the project organization in cybersecurity matters
• Collaborate with suppliers and stakeholders to ensure a cohesive security solution

We are looking for you who have:

• At least 6 years of experience in cybersecurity work as an IT security architect, IT security specialist, IT security expert, or equivalent
• At least 4 years of experience in cybersecurity work within OT, industrial, production, or signaling system environments
• At least 6 years of experience in cybersecurity architecture, technical decision-making, and requirement setting in complex system environments
• Experience in designing and reviewing data networks and associated infrastructure
• Experience in developing and reviewing cybersecurity requirements based on regulatory requirements and standards
• Experience in identifying risks, deficiencies, and technical challenges, and proposing solutions
• At least 4 years of experience in verification and validation of cybersecurity measures
• Experience in cybersecurity testing, test protocols, and assessment of security analyses
• Documented experience of working according to at least two of the following frameworks and standards:
  • CENELEC TS/EN 50701
  • IEC 62443 series
  • NIST 800-53
• Ability to communicate complex security issues to both technical and business stakeholders

It is particularly desirable if you have:

• Experience from infrastructure projects within transport, energy, industry, or other critical societal operations
• Experience acting as a bridge between IT and OT suppliers
• Experience with maturity assessments in cybersecurity
• Experience coordinating security-related activities between multiple suppliers and project partners
• Documented experience in translating technical, regulatory, and business requirements into implemented security solutions
• Experience working in large, complex project environments with many dependencies and stakeholders

The assignment offers a flexible hybrid model with the possibility to work both on-site and remotely. The extent of remote work is adapted to the business's needs and the different phases of the project.

Start: 2026-06-22 End: 2028-12-30

Extension Possibility: The assignment can be extended by an additional 1 + 1 + 1 + 1 years.

Scope: Full-time, 40 hours per week.

This is a consulting assignment with a larger organization that is undergoing extensive modernization of technical and business-critical systems. The assignment involves ensuring cybersecurity in complex environments where OT systems, data networks, infrastructure, and multiple suppliers interact.

You will work with everything from cybersecurity architecture, risk analyses, and requirement management to verification, testing, and documentation. The role involves significant responsibility and offers the opportunity to influence the security of business-critical solutions with long-term significance.
