Age Control Officer / Mystery Shopper (19-24 years) with Manual B License – Stockholm

As an Age Control Officer and Mystery Shopper, you will travel around the country on what is called a "route" in a team of two employees. You will drive company cars and stay in hotels during the routes. Costs such as accommodation and fuel are naturally covered by the company. Therefore, it is important that you have a manual B license and good driving experience so that you feel safe on working days. Routes can vary between 2–5 days in a row. Depending on the month and assignment, the amount of work and time spent sleeping outside Stockholm may vary. Solo work occurs, but the most common is working in a team with a colleague.

During the work, you will visit shops, cafes, restaurants, and similar establishments to conduct so-called test purchases of items such as games, tobacco, medicine, and alcohol. The purpose is to measure whether the sales outlet requests identification for age-restricted goods.

In this role, you will primarily work with conducting age controls, i.e., checks to ensure that alcohol is not sold to minors (Alcoholic Beverages Act Chapter 5, Section 5). These assignments focus on ensuring age control through test purchases. To be a test purchaser in the age range where age control is required, you must be at least 20 years old and/or of an age that is age-representative for the legal purchase of alcoholic beverages.

This ensures that all test purchases are conducted by an age-representative controller and that all shops are checked on the same grounds. The age controls are conducted for preventive purposes.

Furthermore, as a Mystery Shopper, you will conduct anonymous quality measurements. This means you will visit a location and act as a regular customer, following a specific scenario to assess specific criteria in the experience of your visit. We help our customers develop quality and sales in customer interactions and ensure that established routines are followed continuously.

The role starts with an introduction in early July. You need to be available for work in early July, have the opportunity to work during the summer, and continue working in the autumn to apply for this position.

Knowledge Requirements:

You who apply must have a manual B license and be able to speak and write Swedish.

It is a great merit to be good at expressing yourself in writing, as well as having an eye for detail, as the work involves a lot of report writing. If you have previously worked in service jobs and/or have cash register experience, we see this as advantageous.

The work can be combined with lighter distance studies or other flexible part-time jobs. The workload varies from month to month depending on our customers' assignments. Working hours are primarily during the day. You need to be able to work at least 3 weeks per month and also have the opportunity to stay away overnight Monday–Friday.
