About us

NPF Barnvakten offers childcare to families with children within the NPF (Neuropsychiatric Function Impairment) spectrum.

NPF stands for neuropsychiatric function impairment, and the most common impairments are: ADHD, Autism, ADD, AST, Tourette's syndrome, and Speech Disorder. Our goal is to help as many people with special needs as possible, which is why you will undergo internal training in NPF before starting your first assignment. The assignment:

• Number of children and age: 1 child, 5 years old
• Days and times: primarily weekends, occasionally weekdays
• Desired start date: Immediately
• Childcare takes place at the family's home or in a nearby park.
• Location: Bromma, Äppelviken

We are looking for someone who:

• Has some form of experience with children, preferably children with NPF (ADHD, Autism, ID or similar)
• Has experience with low-affective handling and clear pedagogical methods
• Is responsible and has a genuine interest in children
• Wants a developing and rewarding side job
• Is pedagogical, secure, and calm
• Driving license is meritorious
• Experience with visual support/TAKK is meritorious

Typical tasks may include:

• Pick-up from preschool/school
• Organizing activities at and outside the home
• Acting as support during excursions
• Cooking simple meals
• Bedtime routines
• Activation, socialization, and relief
