As a machine operator at our Recycling Centers, you will play a vital role in ensuring a smooth flow of waste and recyclable materials, while contributing to excellent customer service and a safe working environment. The role involves practical machine work where you move and position containers, press and compress materials, and assist visitors with sorting and drop-off. To fit the role, we require you to have a B-driver's license and some machine experience (experience handling small construction machinery, forklifts, or similar), be service-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with a clear focus on safety and order.

Job Responsibilities

• Move and position containers and secure loads
• Assist and guide visitors in sorting and dropping off materials
• Perform daily inspections and basic maintenance of machinery and equipment
• Follow and contribute to safety procedures and occupational health and safety regulations

Experience and Qualifications

• B-driver's license — mandatory
• Some machine experience
• Advantageous: Experience operating wheel loaders
• Advantageous: Previous work in waste management, recycling, or similar industries
• A background check may be conducted upon employment
