Working as a Warehouse Manager at the Swedish Transport Administration's warehouse in Trollhättan

You will become the hub of the Swedish Transport Administration's warehousing function. You will serve as the link between operations, procurement, distribution, and warehousing, thereby coordinating and ensuring an optimal logistics flow. You will interact with both internal and external stakeholders.

 

Responsibilities

In the role of Warehouse Manager, you are responsible for the Swedish Transport Administration's Central Warehouse in Trollhättan. In this position, you will receive and distribute goods and continuously update our warehouse system with current balances. You are also responsible for handling heavy goods, which involves operating wheel loaders and forklifts. You administer and plan maintenance for our vehicle fleet. The role also includes responsibility for and purchasing of consumables, chemicals, and associated environmental reports. You will continuously develop and optimize warehouse management and report to the Maintenance Manager. The role also involves preparing and planning larger projects and establishments at our remote stations.

 

Who are you?

To be considered for the role of Warehouse Manager, you must have:

 

  • A high school diploma and/or work experience that we assess as equivalent
  • Documented experience working in business/warehouse systems, or other experience we assess as equivalent
  • Category B driver's license (manual transmission)
  • Forklift license (A2 and B1)
  • Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing

 

The following are meritorious:

 

  • Hazardous materials training (ADR)
  • Previous experience in warehouse work
  • Forklift license (Wheel loader = C)

How and when?

This recruitment is for a permanent position expected to be filled as soon as possible.

 

The Swedish Transport Administration may apply a six-month probationary period.

The position may involve being posted for war service at the Swedish Transport Administration.

 

First interviews will be held in weeks 23 and 24.

Second interviews will be held in weeks 25 and 26.
