Maintenance Technician for the Plastic and Injection Moulding Industry

Do you want to work in a technologically advanced production environment where quality, food safety, and operational reliability are in focus? We are now looking for an engaged Maintenance Technician who wants to work in shifts to ensure stable and efficient production of plastic packaging for the food industry.

Our production runs around the clock, which means maintenance is a crucial function to minimize downtime and ensure high delivery precision.

About the Role

As a Maintenance Technician, you are responsible for ensuring that injection moulding machines, peripheral equipment, and production lines function optimally. You perform both preventive and corrective maintenance in a modern and automated production environment.

You will become an important part of our technical department and work closely with production, quality, and production engineering. In your role, you have a central responsibility to quickly identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues.

Responsibilities

  • Preventive and corrective maintenance of injection moulding machines and automation equipment
  • Emergency troubleshooting during operational disruptions
  • Troubleshooting in electrical systems, mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics
  • Service and optimization of robots and peripheral equipment
  • Participate in improvement work and efficiency optimization of production processes
  • Documentation in maintenance systems
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment
  • Ensure that work complies with current food and hygiene requirements

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has technical education in industry/maintenance, or equivalent work experience
  • Has experience from the plastic, injection moulding, or process industry
  • Has knowledge of electrical systems, automation, and mechanics
  • Is experienced in troubleshooting in a production environment
  • Thrives in shift work and a varied work pace
  • Is structured, solution-oriented, and responsible
  • Enjoys working both independently and in a team

Merits

  • Experience with injection moulding machines and automation
  • Knowledge of hygiene requirements and product quality
  • Experience in improvement work (LEAN, TPM, or similar)

  • Permanent weekend (daytime)
  • Permanent weekend (night)

Start date: As soon as possible, according to agreement

Requirements: Fluent Swedish in speech and writing
