Are you a skilled panel beater looking to work in a modern and well-equipped workshop in Kungsbacka?
You will be working with:
As a panel beater at Werksta Kungsbacka, you will become part of a dedicated team where quality, precision, and efficient workflow are central. You will perform panel beating and body repairs on passenger cars according to manufacturer and insurance company guidelines. The role involves straightening, welding, riveting, assembly, and disassembly, as well as the use of modern measuring and repair tools. You will collaborate closely with damage assessors, painters, and other workshop staff to ensure fast and accurate repairs as well as high customer satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities
- Repair and replace body parts, as well as straighten sheet metal and frames.
- Perform welding, gluing, and riveting according to current requirements and safety regulations.
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle parts in connection with repairs; simpler mechanical work may occur.
- Use modern measuring and repair tools and document completed work in the workshop system.
- Collaborate with damage assessors, painters, and colleagues to ensure an efficient flow and high quality.
- Ensure that repairs meet the workshop's high standards for quality and safety.
- Contribute to an orderly, safe, and service-oriented working environment in the workshop.
Your Profile
We are looking for you with vehicle training or several years of experience in body and panel work. You are meticulous, quality-conscious, and technically interested. Experience from the damage repair industry or work with premium vehicles is advantageous. Since the role may include mechanical tasks, experience with assembly/disassembly and basic mechanics is a plus.
- Documented experience from body and panel work or equivalent practical experience is advantageous.
- A valid B driving license is required.
- Experience with welding and use of measuring equipment is advantageous.
- Structured, responsible, and a good team player.
- Solution-oriented, flexible, and curious about new technology and working methods.
