Posti is now recruiting, on behalf of our client, an experienced and quality-conscious vehicle preparer for a long-term assignment in Skåne. This role is ideal for you who have solid experience in practical work within the automotive or bodywork industry and thrive in a work environment where precision and professional skill are highly valued.

Our client specializes in advanced vehicle restoration and handles various types of vehicles – from standard models to more exclusive and specially adapted vehicles. The operations are characterized by a high technical level, modern working methods, and a strong focus on quality in every step.

Job Responsibilities

In this role, you will work on preparatory tasks prior to painting and surface treatment. The work requires precision, good material knowledge, and experience in practical work with bodywork and surfaces.

Common tasks include:

• Preparation of body parts and surfaces
• Sanding and processing of materials
• Filling and correcting unevenness
• Taping and protection prior to further treatment
• Inspection of substrates and finished surfaces

You will work both independently and in collaboration with other colleagues in the workshop to ensure high quality throughout the entire process.

Your Profile

We are looking for you who

• Have at least 5 years of experience in vehicle preparation, bodywork, or similar work
• Are meticulous and quality-conscious
• Have a good sense for finish and details
• Enjoy practical work in a workshop environment
• Can work independently and take personal responsibility
• Are willing to relocate for the position

Previous experience from a body shop or work related to painting processes is advantageous.
