We are strengthening our upholstery department with a full-time position. You will become part of a team of three employees. The role includes upholstery, sewing, and to some extent leatherwork. At our company, all steps are handled in-house, from planning the work until the chairs are ready for delivery. We manufacture exclusively to order, which means that while four chairs is a common order size, it can also be up to 30 chairs depending on the customer's request. To succeed in this role, you must be proficient in all stages of the process.

Gemla Fabrikers is Sweden's oldest furniture factory, founded in 1861 in Diö, between Älmhult and Ljungby. Here, products of international top quality are manufactured, designed by some of Sweden's most skilled designers, such as Jonas Bohlin, Front, Mats Theselius, and many others.

Everything is produced by hand in our factory in Diö, from raw planks to finished furniture. The production series are relatively small, which makes the tasks varied. At Gemla, no two days are exactly alike.
