Urbansgruppen AB is growing and is now looking for an experienced carpenter to join our team in Greater Stockholm.

About the Role

As a carpenter at Urbansgruppen, you will work on construction and carpentry tasks in various types of projects around Greater Stockholm. This may involve renovations, conversions, assembly, and other carpentry work where precision, pace, and responsibility are key.

You will primarily work with:

• Apartment renovations and house renovations
• Construction and carpentry work for municipalities, private individuals, and property owners
• Framing, drywall, assembly, kitchens, interiors, and similar tasks
• Reading blueprints and working according to plans
• Self-inspections, documentation, and quality assurance
• Contact with site management, colleagues, and occasionally customers

The focus is on craftsmanship, but you must also be able to interact with customers and partners in a professional manner.

We are looking for you who:

• Have at least 5 years of experience as a carpenter
• Hold a valid driver's license (Category B)
• Can start immediately or as agreed
• Are self-sufficient, responsible, and detail-oriented
• Have good command of Swedish (both spoken and written)
• Can read blueprints and follow instructions
• Keep to schedules, maintain order, and deliver quality
• Enjoy working both independently and as part of a team

A vocational certificate is meritorious, but documented experience can weigh equally.

It is an advantage if you have:

• Vocational certificate
• Experience in service jobs and customer contact
• Experience with municipal assignments
• Experience with apartment and house renovations
• Familiarity with self-inspections and documentation
• Training in hot work, BAS-U, or similar
• Experience taking more responsibility, e.g., as lead installer, team leader, or supervising carpenter
