We are now looking for an experienced estimator in civil engineering for a permanent position with one of our most popular clients in Stockholm within the civil engineering sector.

About the company

We are now in a continued phase of expansion and are looking for an estimator for our headquarters in Stockholm. We are one of the leading actors in civil engineering, maintenance, and detailed planning of outdoor environments in Stockholm.

Since our founding in 1973, we have been driven by the need to provide qualified earthworks. We have approximately 50 employees and our headquarters are located in Solna.

About the role

As an estimator, you support the project group and production with tasks such as estimation, bidding, and planning.

Specific responsibilities:

• Perform administrative work.
• Prepare bid estimates and prepare bidding documents.
• Prepare side bids and alternative estimates.
• Perform and prepare contract documents.
• Prepare materials and suggest schedules.
• Request quotations.
• Evaluate quotations.
• Responsible for system management.

Qualifications

• At least post-secondary construction technology educational background (or equivalent).
• Knowledge of contract law.
• Experience with bidding.
• Scheduling knowledge.
• Experience with contract management.
• Purchasing knowledge.
• Several years of experience working as an estimator in civil engineering previously.
• Desirable previous experience from the construction industry.
• Desirable good knowledge of Bluebeam, Map, and Excel.
• You must have knowledge of construction calculation programs.
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English in speech and writing.

We would appreciate it if you also have experience with larger business systems and scheduling programs.
