We are now looking for one or two hostel wardens/hostesses for Hanö Hostel. We are looking for you who enjoy order and cleanliness, take personal responsibility, and want to give the guests staying at the hostel and visitors to the island that little extra touch.

The hostel is located on the island of Hanö in the Blekinge archipelago. During the summer, a boat departs from Nogersund Harbour to Hanö approximately once an hour.

Therefore, you must have the possibility to travel to and from Nogersund Harbour.

This will be our sixth summer operating Hanö Hostel. It is located halfway up the island in the island's old school. We have five rooms and two cottages, totaling approximately 20 beds.

We are looking for one or two people who would like to work as a hostel warden.

Working hours are approximately 10:30–15:30 on a rotating schedule, Monday–Sunday, from June to mid/end of August. There is also the possibility to work on weekends in May and September.

In previous years, we have had two wardens who shared the position and worked every other week.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and handle check-ins and check-outs
• Clean and prepare rooms
• Make beds
• Clean common areas (kitchen, shower, and toilet)
• Simple gardening tasks (watering flowers indoors and outdoors, and bringing flowers inside)
• Inventory and order consumables
• Inventory and order bed linen
