We are currently looking for a babysitter for a family in Vasastan, Stockholm.

About us

NPF Barnvakten offers childcare services to families with children who have neurodevelopmental disorders (NPF).

NPF stands for neurodevelopmental disorder. The most common conditions include ADHD, Autism, ADD, AST, Tourette's syndrome, and speech disorders. Our goal is to support as many people with special needs as possible. Therefore, you will undergo internal training in NPF-related care before starting your first assignment. The assignment:

• Number of children and age: 1 child, 7 years old
• Days and times: Weekdays approx. 13:00–16:00, occasionally evenings and weekends.
• Desired start date: Immediately
• Childcare takes place at the family's home or in a nearby park.
• Location: Vasastan, Stockholm.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience with children, preferably children with NPF (ADHD, Autism, ID, or similar).
• Has experience with low-affective interaction and clear/structured pedagogy.
• Is responsible and has a genuine interest in children.
• Wants a developing and rewarding part-time job.
• Is pedagogical, secure, and calm.
• Experience with visual supports/TAKK (Picture Exchange Communication System) is a plus.

Tasks:

Tasks may vary depending on the family's needs. Typical tasks include:

• Picking up from preschool/school.
• Organizing activities at and outside the home.
• Providing support during outings.
• Preparing simple meals.
• Bedtime routines.
• Activation, socialization, and respite care.
