Job Description

We are currently looking for a Laser Operator for a position with an established industrial client in Skillingaryd. The company specializes in advanced contract manufacturing and boasts a modern fleet of machinery focused on laser cutting, bending, and tube and sheet metal welding. As a Laser Operator, you will work in a production environment where quality and precision are paramount. The role involves working in the company's laser department with varied tasks and opportunities for development across different parts of the production process. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Preparing machines and setting up tools
• Operating and optimizing machines, primarily flatbed lasers, with future opportunities to work with tube lasers and press brakes
• Material handling, including feeding, sorting, and quality control
• Departmental inventory management, including forklift operation with side-shifters

The work schedule is based on a two-shift system.

Your Profile

To succeed in this role, we believe you have previous experience in industrial work and ideally prior experience as a laser operator. A strong technical interest and good technical understanding are also valuable assets for this position. Experience with programming is considered an advantage. We also believe you are driven, responsible, and solution-oriented. You work in a structured manner, have an eye for quality, and appreciate keeping your workspace organized. You are a team player who contributes positive energy and enjoys working together towards common goals.
