About the Role

We are looking for a Prototype Technician with an electrical focus for our Power business area in Älmhult. Here, you will play a key role in planning and building prototypes and verification units – from concept to functioning product. You will work both independently and in close collaboration with internal departments, contributing solutions, improvement suggestions, and vital feedback regarding assembly and functionality. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to contribute and influence during an exciting phase of development, where your effort truly makes a difference.

In the role of Prototype Technician, you will among other things:

• Perform varied production and assembly work to ensure delivery according to schedule.
• Review designs and materials and contribute with improvement suggestions and feedback.
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to planning and production preparation.
• Document work in IT systems, e.g., Monitor.
• Ensure order and structure in the workplace and report status to Team Leader and Project Manager.
• Contribute to the continuous development and improvement of the business.

Who We Are Looking For

To succeed in the role, we would like you to have the following:

• Experience as an assembler and familiarity with building complete systems.
• Education as an electrician and experience with assembly of electrical cabinets, cable routing, and installations.
• Experience working in ERP systems, preferably Monitor.
• Good ability to read and understand drawings and other technical documentation.
