JOAB is in an exciting phase of expansion, and we are now growing our operations with a brand-new production line. Therefore, we are looking for several new colleagues to join our team of assemblers. We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in technology and thrive in an environment where things are constantly happening.

Responsibilities

The role involves assembling our superstructures, tail lifts, cranes, flatbeds, and related equipment onto various truck chassis. We work in teams and support each other to maintain high quality and efficiency.

We place great emphasis on you having an economical mindset in your work, meaning you take care of materials and tools and understand the value of a well-planned work process. Here, you will get a varied job where you use both your head and your hands, and where you will have the opportunity to influence how we structure the work on the new line.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a basic understanding of vehicle technology and know how a truck works. If you have a background in vehicles or industry, that is a big plus. Perhaps you have worked for a few years in line-based assembly, worked professionally with mechanics, or have a deep interest in mechanics in your spare time. Do you also have knowledge of hydraulics or vehicle electronics? Even better! If you have a truck driver's license or training for forklifts and cranes, that is also an extra bonus. But most importantly, we want you to be someone who sees what needs to be done, has an internal drive to keep the pace up, and enjoys collaborating in a group.

We offer a fixed-term position with good opportunities for permanent employment in a stable and growing company. JOAB has a collective agreement, the Technical Agreement (Teknikavtalet) with IF Metall.
