Are you a creative photographer within moving images?

We are looking for a media producer who wants to support the university's communication through film production.

About Us

The Communications Department works strategically and operationally to create interest in Linnaeus University's education, research, and collaboration.

We are approximately 45 employees working with student recruitment, research communication, and internal communication. The department consists of two sections and operates from Kalmar and Växjö. We are a department with strong in-house competence, and much of our communication is created by us from start to finish. With us, you will have an exciting daily routine.

Responsibilities

You will work with planning, project management, organization, and finalizing media productions. This can involve inspirational and marketing materials, instructional films, documentary stories, productions during lectures, events, and conferences. You will also work with animation and graphic motion content.

You will be part of the section for marketing, student recruitment, and visual communication but will also have assignments outside the section's areas of responsibility.

Qualifications

We are looking for you with several years of experience as a media producer within moving images. You are accustomed to working with the entire chain, from ordering and planning to implementation and follow-up. You have experience handling different types of content and technology and can create productions for different target groups, channels, and purposes. You have documented experience in animation and graphic motion content. Experience working with media productions within the higher education sector is meritorious.

You should have good knowledge of Swedish and English, and work comfortably in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. You have a category B driver's license and a drone license. We would like you to have a post-secondary education in media production, journalism, or media and communication science, but this is not a requirement.

You are creative and driven and have the ability to listen to needs which you, with your professionalism, translate into something that adds value for the individual and for the university. The work requires that you can work against deadlines and handle several parallel projects.

Location: Växjö (but expected to work from both Kalmar and Växjö)
