About the role

Our client is one of Sweden's leading companies in the distribution of technical solutions and installation products. For their projects in Gävle, they are now looking for a Transport Coordinator who takes ownership of the entire journey of the goods – from arrival to the construction site.

You will be on-site throughout the assignment and act as the hub of the logistics. The role is approximately 80% administrative and system-based, but also requires you to be comfortable working operationally on-site. This is the job for you if you like structure, take initiative, and want to build something from the ground up.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and plan transport with suppliers and customers
• Plan the inflow and outflow of goods at the construction site
• Handle and register goods in the system
• Coordinate indoor handling with resources on-site
• Ensure deliveries are made on time and to the correct location
• Establish and follow routines for a smooth and efficient terminal

Conditions

• Employment type: Staffing via Simplex, 12 months with a good chance of extension
• Location: Gävle
• Working hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 07:00–16:00 or 08:00–17:00
• Salary: 34,000 SEK/month (200 SEK/hour) according to GFL
• Start: Immediately

We are looking for you who

• Have experience in transport planning, logistics, or similar
• Are structured and accustomed to working in systems
• Take initiative and enjoy owning a process
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and suppliers
• Are solution-oriented and like establishing and following routines
• Have good computer skills and are quick learners

Merits

• Experience in transport booking or forwarding work
• Background as a foreman or team leader
• Forklift license
