At Äldreliv Home Care, we are looking for a nursing assistant or care aide who wants to work within our home care service in Norrtälje. What does the job as a Nursing Assistant/Care Aide in home care at Äldreliv involve?

As a nursing assistant or care aide, you are a valuable key player who contributes to our customers having a secure and meaningful life in their later years. We always base our approach on the customer's wishes and own abilities, focusing on health and well-being. As a nursing assistant/care aide, you are responsible for providing dignified and high-quality care and support based on the elderly person's individual needs. Common tasks may include assistance with daily care, medication administration, documentation, support during activities and meals, as well as cleaning in the customer's home.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for you with a big heart and a desire to make a difference. We appreciate that you enjoy working with people and have a strong sense of service. You should also find it easy to collaborate with others and have a good ability to adapt your communication based on the recipient.

  • We are looking for you who are a Nursing Assistant or Care Aide.
  • Previous experience in elderly care is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.
  • We appreciate that you have good computer skills and system knowledge.
  • We appreciate that you have a B driver's license and can cycle.

Employment type: Permanent position

Scope: Full-time/Part-time

Start date: As soon as possible

We apply individual salary setting and have collective agreements. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

In the event of employment, you must be able to produce an extract from the criminal record register. You must also be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden, by showing that you have citizenship within the EU/EEA or a valid work permit.
