EXPORT-FOCUSED SAWMILL SEEKING SAWMILL OPERATOR

We are a small-scale sawmill and planing mill in Småland, focusing on sales to several export markets. The industry, with approximately 40 employees, is located in Malmbäck, about 3 miles south of Jönköping and 2 miles west of Nässjö.

Planing and Dressing Mill Operator

We are looking for positive, driven, and engaged colleagues to join our company in Malmbäck. We have a flat organization with an open-door policy and work at a fast pace, valuing responsibility and the desire to develop and improve the company.

As a planing and dressing mill operator with us, you will become part of a team with knowledgeable colleagues. Therefore, it is important that you are good at collaborating, have good communication skills, and contribute to a positive atmosphere. Together, we will dress and plane the best wood products for our customers. The work includes everything from monitoring the process, production, preparing machines for production, quality control, light maintenance, packaging, wrapping, sorting, and cleaning.

We would appreciate it if you have experience from a sawmill or planing mill, although this is not a requirement. We want you to be someone who sees opportunities, is not afraid to get your hands dirty, enjoys learning new things, and sees how you can contribute to making things easier for others and yourself. We place great importance on your personal qualities. Working hours vary across the industry, but you must be willing to work in a two-shift system.

It is of utmost importance that we keep production running at the industry every day, which makes the job fun and challenging. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth operations during production hours.
