Do you want to ensure that pregnant women in Kiruna receive the best possible care and the next generation the best possible start in life? Then become part of our team at Kiruna Health Centre! We are currently looking for two midwives for the Maternity Health Care and the Youth Clinic. At Kiruna Health Centre, the midwife works with pregnant women and their families, as well as young people up to the age of 26 at the Youth Clinic. We are co-located and have close cooperation with the Child Health Care.

We are looking for

We are looking for you who are a registered midwife with experience from maternity health care and/or the youth clinic. It is an advantage if you have knowledge of Cosmic and Cosmicbirth, as well as cultural understanding and language skills in minority languages commonly spoken in the area. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. As a person, you are secure and stable, independent, and service-oriented. You have an easy time collaborating with others.

What you will work with

The work at the Maternity Health Care includes planned visits based on the BAS program for Maternity Health Care. This also includes visits for contraceptive counseling, cytology sampling, as well as telephone counseling/scheduling and chat, where you are the first point of contact for the Maternity Health Care. At the youth clinic, you have both physical and digital meetings with the young person, as well as telephone counseling and chat. Collaboration with other staff categories at the health centre, within Region Norrbotten and among others Kiruna Municipality occurs. An example with the municipality is our collaboration with the Family Centre where we regularly participate in various activities related to our area.

Information about the position

We offer a permanent full-time position, daytime working hours. Start date as soon as possible according to agreement.

Selection and interviews are conducted continuously and the position may be filled before the last application date.

Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreement.
