Human Bridge Foundation is looking for a Driver/Warehouse Worker with a Category C license

This primarily involves collecting and refurbishing/repairing medical equipment and materials, which are then donated to hospitals around the world. In this way, we aim to contribute to improving the quality of care offered to people in vulnerable countries. To finance this, we collect textiles that are processed at our facilities.

Your Role

We are currently looking for a warehouse worker/driver for the collection of medical materials and other common goods. You will be responsible for unloading and loading containers and various types of trucks.

Your duties also include emptying textile collection containers and being part of the team that pre-sorts collected textiles for export. Other warehouse tasks may also occur.

As a truck driver, you are responsible, confident in traffic, and stress-resistant with good planning skills. In addition to driving skills, independence, physical endurance, good communication skills for customer contact, and the ability to follow safety and environmental regulations are required.

As a warehouse worker, you are meticulous, physically and mentally resilient, and capable of working structured under time pressure. Other important qualities include good teamwork skills, a sense of responsibility, a positive attitude towards tasks, and a willingness for physically active work.

Experience and other specific knowledge requirements

• Category C driving license and YKB (HGV) qualification
• Fluent Swedish in both speech and writing

• Ability for good structure and order: Warehouse work requires order to handle incoming and outgoing goods efficiently.
• Teamwork skills: Warehouse work is a team effort, and it is important to work well with others and help where needed.
• Sense of responsibility: Taking responsibility for your tasks and being punctual.
• Flexibility: Being able to switch between different tasks, such as picking, packing, and forklift driving.
• Values: Sharing our value base regarding the equal value of all people.

Meritorious if you also have:

• Forklift license
