The Role of Senior IT Project Manager

• Project management from pre-study through requirements definition, implementation, and closure.
• Focus on quality, time, and budget.
• Creation of project documentation, often based on existing templates.
• Ensure resource planning and risk management.
• Communicate with stakeholders at various levels within the organization.
• Coordinate between project dependencies such as other projects, operations, and/or business activities.
• Report to various types of management forums, including the project steering group.
• Ensure handover to operations and project closure.

Qualifications:

• 9–15 years of documented experience in IT project management.
• Extensive and broad experience with various types of IT infrastructure projects.
• Ability to drive multiple parallel projects in a complex environment.
• Very good communication skills in Swedish (oral and written).
• Certifications in a project methodology (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA) as well as ITIL.
• Proficiency in using IT tools for project planning, presentations, documentation, financial tracking, etc. (examples: MS Office/Project, Visio, Antura, Jira, Confluence, ADO, SharePoint, etc.).
• Experience assessing project size and forming appropriate documentation structures, organization, etc., based on that.

A central part of the job is to create and maintain good relationships with those involved in and around the project.

Your main responsibilities include planning and coordinating projects from start to finish. You set realistic deadlines and goals and are responsible for resource planning and assigning tasks to team members. You ensure that project goals and metrics are achieved, reported, and followed up. In this role, you monitor and report on project progress, as well as communicate with various stakeholders. You handle risks and issues that may arise during the project and follow up on and evaluate the project after delivery.

Who are you? For this role, we require previous experience in IT project management/working as an IT Project Manager for 9+ years. We also look for candidates with a university or civil engineering degree in IT/technology.

The role requires good knowledge of Swedish and English, both oral and written.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to current security clearance regulations, which includes, among other things, a requirement for Swedish citizenship. The assignment is classified.

This assignment is performed 100% onsite at the client's premises in Lund/Malmö, which does not allow for remote work.
