About the role

As a Maintenance Mechanic here, you will have a varied scope of work that includes safety, maintenance, improvements, and operations. You will participate in preventive maintenance and contribute to the development of operator-driven maintenance. You will work on maintaining the machinery according to the facility structure and organizational chart, which also includes documenting activities. You will participate in, and in some cases be responsible for, projects and improvement initiatives. A natural part of the job is troubleshooting, analysis, creating action plans, and maintaining order according to the fundamentals of 5S. All tasks are driven by the continuous improvement of safety in our machines for our employees.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to broaden your existing knowledge in respective areas, and there is room for new creative thoughts and ideas that can lead to improved routines and processes. Since maintenance is a service profession, flexibility regarding working hours is required.

Are you the right profile?

We believe you have a technical basic education and a few years of experience in similar tasks. You have good Swedish and English skills, both spoken and written. To succeed in the role, it is an advantage if you have experience in areas such as welding, machining, pneumatics, transmissions, and hydraulics. Knowledge in electrical systems is a plus for the Maintenance Mechanic role, as it helps you better understand the overall process. We expect you to be able to plan your own workflow regarding material procurement, time estimation, inventory withdrawal, and feedback on completed tasks.
