CE Driver for Terminal – Evening or Night, Full-time

Do you want to use your experience as a driver, but avoid life on the road every day?

We are looking for someone who has driven heavy vehicles in the past and knows what it takes for a transport to work seamlessly – from loading and securing the load to ensuring the rig is ready to roll.

This is a role for you who enjoy order, pace, and responsibility. You will become an important part of the terminal flow and ensure that our drivers can leave the terminal with the right load, right securing, and right quality.

• Position: CE Driver for Terminal
• Scope: Full-time
• Working hours: Evening or Night
• Evening: Monday–Friday, 16:00–01:00
• Night: Sunday–Thursday, 21:00–06:00
• Conditions: According to the Transport Agreement

About the job

The work takes place primarily within the terminal area. You will work with marshalling of drop-decks and trailers as well as loading and unloading at the terminal.

An important part of the role is to ensure the quality of what is loaded and leaves the terminal. It is about ensuring the load is correctly positioned, properly secured, and ready for the driver who will take the rig further.

Some driving may occur, but this is not a traditional driver's job where you are on the roads for most of the shift. Here you use your driver experience at the terminal, where your knowledge of load, weight distribution, safety, and practical flow makes a big difference.

Your contribution directly affects the safety of the driver taking over the rig and the quality of the entire transport chain.

This job suits you who know the transport industry but no longer seek many miles on the road every day. You may have driven distribution, long-haul, or other heavy traffic previously and want a more structured setup with fixed working hours.

This is not the role for you if you primarily want to drive long distances. This is the role for you who want to use your driver experience in a different way – closer to the terminal, the flow, and the quality.

Tasks

• Marshalling of drop-decks and trailers in the terminal area
• Loading and unloading of goods
• Inspection of goods, load, and rig
• Ensure correct load securing
• Contribute to an efficient and safe terminal flow
• Some driving may occur

We are looking for you who have

• CE Driver's License
• Valid YKB (Professional Competence Certificate)
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Experience with heavy traffic
• Good understanding of load securing
• Experience handling trailers
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility
