About the role

As a construction technician, you will independently perform carpentry work, ranging from kitchen installation to minor alterations and extensions in existing facilities. You may also become involved in larger projects, such as surface renovations and structural modifications. The role also includes work with restoration after water damage.

You will become part of a work group where the work is often performed independently based on assigned work orders. At the same time, you will collaborate closely with other technicians within areas such as operations, plumbing, ventilation, and electricity.

The location is at US (University Hospital) in Linköping, but work may occur at all hospitals within Region Östergötland. You will be part of a team of approximately 30 employees who work with the operation and maintenance of the hospital's facilities. You report to the group manager, who is your direct supervisor.

Qualifications

• Professional certificate for woodworkers
• Swedish language skills (spoken and written)
• Category B driver's license

About you

We are looking for someone who is social and customer-service oriented, as you work closely with customers and staff who also occupy the premises. You are self-motivated in your work and have good ability to plan and structure your tasks. At the same time, you are part of a team with employees of different competencies, where collaboration is often a prerequisite for success in joint projects. Therefore, it is important that you enjoy working with others and contribute to good teamwork.
