Work as a Nurse at VetAtHome – Join us in revolutionizing animal healthcare!
We are looking for you who are a Level 2 or 3 Animal Caretaker or a licensed Veterinary Nurse and wish to work in an ambulatory practice!
About VetAtHome
VetAtHome is a modern and innovative animal care service where the well-being and comfort of animals and their owners are put first. Currently, we have a physical clinic and ambulatory services in Stockholm, as well as smaller clinic rooms and ambulatory veterinarians across the country. We are now looking for a nurse for our new operations in Malmö who is driven and interested in working in an ambulatory capacity!
Ambulatory visits are the core of VetAtHome. Since we visit the animal where they feel most comfortable, we minimize stress and create a calmer care experience for everyone, which is a highly appreciated service by both patients and owners. Our goal is to offer veterinary care in the home across all of Sweden and thereby help ensure that more animals receive the care they need.
Are you the dedicated employee we are looking for?
We are looking for you who are organized and self-sufficient enough to help run your own veterinary practice! You will be part of a team consisting of yourself and one to two veterinarians, where you will manage your own unit. The team will operate out of a polyclinic hub that serves as your base. Here, you can prepare for home visits and also receive patients. Your duties will include standard polyclinic tasks such as animal care, welcoming patients and pet owners, cleaning the hub, booking appointments, handling payments, and customer service. New tasks added through our ambulatory operations include driving and managing your own list of home visits.
As a nurse at VetAtHome, you will have the opportunity to go on visits independently and together with your veterinary colleague.
About the Role
As an animal caretaker at VetAtHome, you will help provide qualified care directly in the animal's home environment. By offering care where animals feel most comfortable, we reduce the stress often associated with clinic visits. You will become a key person in developing this modern form of veterinary care, with great freedom to plan and structure your working days.
We offer you:
- Flexibility: The ability to control your own schedule with flexible working hours.
- Meaningful interactions: Close contact with animals and owners in a relaxed environment where you can provide care with less stress.
- Freedom: The opportunity to shape and influence your own veterinary practice.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has at least 2–3 years of experience in clinical work with small animals.
- Can speak and write both Swedish and English.
- Is self-sufficient, responsible, and thrives in a flexible and dynamic environment.
- Feels confident taking blood samples and inserting IV catheters.
- Has a valid B-driver's license and good driving experience.
Meritorious qualifications:
- Experience in laboratory work/analyzing blood samples.
- Further education in animal welfare, stress-free handling, or similar areas.
Are you a passionate and dedicated nurse who wants to try something new? Don't hesitate to submit your application today! We are an innovative company that puts animal well-being and owner convenience first. As part of our growing team, you will have the chance to work in a forward-thinking way that creates security for both animals and humans.
