Just north of Stockholm, in Bålsta, SGDS Group is building one of Europe's most modern warehouses for smart and efficient logistics of products to the construction industry. Customers of Dahl and Optimeras will be served via the new central warehouse. Since logistics, product availability, and correct timing are crucial, SGDS Group's warehouse will be a flexible omnichannel warehouse handling all our approx. 180 stores across Sweden, some of which are unmanned. The warehouse will also handle the growing digital trade via websites and EDI. Delivery usually takes place the day after the order.

As the industry continues to expand, they will handle building materials for all needs within plumbing, HVAC, cooling, industrial, and real estate sectors. Approximately 350 colleagues will work in the new warehouse; it should be a place where everyone enjoys working. Therefore, it is well-thought-out and well-equipped with an stimulating work environment, safety, comfortable dining and break areas, fitness, rest, work, and meeting spaces.

The Role

We at Libera are now looking for new colleagues for the role of Warehouse Operative at SGDS's new warehouse in Bålsta. We are targeting both those who have previous experience in logistics operations and those with a background from another industry who are curious about a career in one of the world's most expansive fields – logistics.

As a warehouse operative at SGDS, you will be responsible, together with your colleagues, for inbound deliveries, order picking, and outbound loading. The work involves some more classic tasks such as forklift driving and physical labor, but also less physical tasks such as monitoring the flow and the robots on your department. Your responsibilities include among other things:

• Registering incoming goods in the business system
• Checking deliveries against delivery notes
• Picking and packing
• Process monitoring in the automated logistics flow
• Supporting in replenishment of incoming goods, internal forklift transport
• Achieve set goals, both personal and team goals

Working hours are primarily during daytime (Mon-Fri), but there is also an opportunity for afternoon/evening shifts.

We are looking for someone who is efficient and meticulous with an interest in both practical and administrative tasks.

Since a large part of the operations is automated, we would appreciate if you have a technical interest and are quick to learn new systems and processes. If you already have a forklift license, we see this as an advantage; otherwise, forklift training will take place before start. We would appreciate previous experience from work within warehousing or production, but also see experience in other technical trades and retail/service roles as meritorious.
