Our client is a Swedish family-owned company active in the container and port industry. The company handles the management, repair, service, and modification of containers and associated equipment.

The operations are located in direct connection with Scandinavia's largest container terminal in Gothenburg and are conducted both in the port area and in their own workshops.

About the role
As a reach stacker driver, you will lift, stack, and move containers within the terminal and port area. You play a central role in the daily logistical flow and ensure that cargo is handled safely, efficiently, and according to established procedures.

The work is carried out in close collaboration with colleagues in marshalling, maintenance, and transport planning.

Responsibilities:

• Operating reach stackers in a terminal environment
• Lifting, stacking, and placing containers
• Loading and unloading trailers and vehicles
• Daily inspection and basic maintenance of machinery
• Collaboration with other staff to ensure efficient flow

About you
You are a responsible and safety-conscious person who thrives in a practical, fast-paced environment. You have a good understanding of machine operation and work meticulously even in situations with multiple tasks.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience operating reach stackers or similar container trucks
• Hold a Category B driver's license (C/CE is an advantage)
• Has experience from port, terminal, or logistics environments
• Has a strong safety awareness
• Enjoys physical and varied work
• Is flexible, meticulous, and cooperative

Direct Recruitment:

During this recruitment process, "the client" collaborates with DFDS Professionals. The position is a direct recruitment to "the Client." Selection is ongoing, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. The position is a full-time employment with start date as agreed.

Mobile Consultant:

You are employed by us at DFDS Professionals but work at our clients' sites. Being a mobile consultant means you are employed by DFDS Professionals to perform work in client companies, where your workplace, working hours, and tasks may vary within an agreed service area. Selection is ongoing, and appointment may occur before the final application date.
