Shift-working Electrician for Industrial Operations

Prevas Installation is currently looking for an industrial electrician for a long-term role with our client. The position is located approximately 45 minutes from Västerås.

About the Role

As an industrial electrician, you will become part of a maintenance team with broad technical competence, where you will jointly be responsible for keeping production running in a safe and efficient manner. The role involves both preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as participation in development, installations, and improvement work within the facility.

The work is performed in shifts, which requires flexibility, teamwork skills, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Your Main Responsibilities

You will primarily be working with:

• Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment.
• Participating in reconstructions and new equipment acquisitions.
• Supporting installations as well as modifications and new designs.
• Updating maintenance plans and templates for preventive maintenance.
• Contributing to the development of methods and routines to improve and streamline working practices.

We are looking for someone who has

• An electrical technical education.
• At least five years of experience in a similar role.
• Broad technical understanding of industrial facilities.
• A valid driver's license (Category B).

We prefer that you live within a commuting distance of approximately 45 minutes by car from the workplace.

It is an advantage if you have

• Experience with industrial electricity and automation.
• Knowledge of programmable control systems.
• Experience with high voltage power, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
