About us:

Baltens Åkeri AB is a recovery company located in Greater Gothenburg. Our station is situated on Hisingen, where we work together as a team.

The company has been in operation since 1986 and currently owns both recovery vehicles and various excavator equipment that operate throughout the country.

About the role:

The job primarily involves assisting stranded motorists with various issues such as jump-starts, lock-outs, tire changes, vehicle recovery, motorcycles, and more.

We work on a fixed rotating schedule, covering day shifts, evenings, nights, and weekends.

We operate from our station, where each recovery driver has their own room, as we sleep on-site during on-call hours.

We share a vehicle with a colleague from the opposite shift and help each other maintain our workplace.

About you:

You are cheerful, friendly, and helpful – a team player who also thrives when working independently. You are not afraid to get your hands dirty, but you value cleanliness – both personal and regarding the vehicles. You handle others' property with care and understand the value of personal belongings.

Requirements:

• Category C driving license and YKB certification
• Good command of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Basic English skills (as we also serve many tourists from around the world)
• Service-oriented, responsible, and able to handle stress

Merits:

• E-certificate (for heavy recovery)
• APV certification
• Previous experience in the field, both light and heavy recovery
• Interest in vehicles, as minor repairs are sometimes performed on-site
